Nursing Informatics Day

In the nursing informatics working group under European Federation for Medical Informatics Europe, we are proud to invite you for the first time to a devoted nursing informatics day during the annual European conference. EFMI MIE 2023 - Nursing Informatics Day (NI)

The conference will have a reduced fee for clinical nurses; please look at the enclosed invitation that we hope you will offer your members in your country. 

This conference will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden at The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Center (svenskamassan.se) May 23-25 . The Nursing informatics day will be Wednesday, 24 May 8:30 a.m. –3:30 p.m. as a part of www.mie2023.org 

The purpose of this Nursing Informatics (NI) day is: 

“To bring European nurses, researchers, and clinical nurses together to share knowledge, gain more awareness and become interested in what nursing informatics is - is used for and, not least - what nursing informatics cannot be used for.”

In the program for the NI Day would like to have a short presentation from you as head of a European Nursing Organization, followed by a panel discussion in the morning and one in the afternoon. The day also offers several international keynotes.

Therefore, we hope you would like to participate in this day with a short presentation (5min) on your view of the necessity of Informatics for nurses.

Unfortunately we are unable to pay for your travel and accommodation, We will however, offer you free entry to both conferences, www.vitalis.nu and www.mie2023.org
